Sue Sacks can help.

She is a skilled clinician, teacher and collaborator with over 30 years of experience helping students and families. Sue has expertise in a wide variety of learning differences - including dyslexia, ADHD and learning disabilities - and the ability to develop practical, effective solutions.

Sue uses an eclectic approach that is based on each student’s particular learning style. By helping students to understand themselves as learners, she empowers them to take charge of their learning.

Understanding what strategies they can use to help themselves, and being able to identify their own progress, leads to greater skill growth and self-confidence.

While a tutor focuses on specific content acquisition alone, a Learning Specialist focuses on the process of learning itself, as well as a student’s feelings and approach to learning.

A learning specialist is a professional educator, skilled in understanding the entire learning experience and knowing what to do when something isn't working. It is not enough to teach the same information in the same way over and over hoping the student will learn.
